For the permanent historical exhibition at Schloss Landestrost: “Life and Buildings of Duke Erich II of Brunswick-Lüneburg” MINTGOLD created the exhibition concept for the Cultural Region Foundation. The primary goal was to make the data and texts clearer and to integrate only objects with a direct relation to the castle into the exhibition, so that the visitors get more compact knowledge in a faster and more contemporary way. A chronological sequence of history on information walls was desired, in which objects can be integrated, so that the separation of objects and texts in the previous exhibition is eliminated. The primary target group is the 30 to 70 year olds who would like to get a rough overview of the castle and its history before “Kultur im Schloss” events. The result is a contemporary permanent exhibition with discovery doors, listening station, slide show, interactive I-PAD station and a film.
